We prioritize safeguarding and upholding the integrity of the academic record at IJMHSAR. Articles published in IJMHSAR are considered the official "Version of Record". Occasionally, if the scientific information in an article is significantly compromised, IJMHSAR may need to publish corrections or retractions of previously published articles. This decision is made by the editors.
Authors are strongly encouraged to promptly report any errors they may find in their articles, particularly in relation to the accuracy of the published information. Only errors that impact the article significantly will be considered. Corrections are made at the discretion of the journal. The correction procedure varies depending on the publication stage of the article. Corrections will be included in a future issue of the journal under the sections for corrections and addendum.
In certain instances, scientific misconduct can lead to the retraction of an article. This includes situations such as submitting the same work to multiple sources, making false claims of authorship, plagiarizing content, or manipulating data in a fraudulent manner. Prior to retracting an article, we kindly ask that the authors provide a signed statement. Prior to publishing a retraction, it is necessary to obtain the agreement of all authors involved in the paper. A notice of retraction will be published and linked to the original article, clearly indicating that it has been retracted. The notice will also include the reason for the retraction and who is retracting the article. The original article will remain accessible in both online and print versions of the journal, but it will be clearly labelled as a retracted article. In addition, retractions will be included on the contents page.
Authors may request to withdraw articles, but only under exceptional circumstances. In such cases, a letter signed by all authors must be submitted to the editorial office, explaining the reason for the withdrawal. Authors should not assume that their article has been withdrawn until they receive official notification from the editorial office.
